Recently I had nothing much to do. Therefore, I planned to create a useful tool to test multiple IP cameras simultaneously.

I managed to capture the image live from multiple cameras and ping for individual hosts. However, the socket communications cannot be shared by multiple sources.

This is the headache part. What could be the ultimate solutions for this?
I have no idea until now. So sad.

If there is still no answer for this, then it is worthless for creating such application to be used for camera testing.

Transformer 2

I could not manage to watch Transformer 2 because everyone has watched that. The queue was terribly long at Times Square. Eileen and I waited for long, but we could not joined the crowd because there was only 1 seat left. So we decided to give up Transformer 2.

Ghostly Fisheye

It happened one day that I captured a ghostly image from the fisheye. I did not notice anything until the time when I tried to identify the markers in the image. At first, I thought the markers was supposed to be occluded behind the bush.

The fisheye image was clear when I was capturing the live on my laptop. After saving a copy in my machine, I opened the image and there goes a dark figure in the image. Surprisingly, this happened during day time. All of us had no idea what was going on actually.

I captured another fisheye image at the next minute. Again, the live image was clear on my laptop. It was verified to be clear as well when I opened the saved image.

What is the dark figure all about? No one knows either.

I hate this sentence. I jumped the time when she mentioned this sentence. It's pretty offensive and she intended to do so, I guess.

Have you watched the movie "Devil Wears Prada"? However, I treat her as a devil no matter how she dresses herself. If you happened to know her, bare in mind that she is the DEVIL that you should watch out for.

She is also the bitch I mentioned before.

Lost Mystique of The Lab

One day I stopped by at the lab to do a new stock checking for items delivered in 2008. Before the Spring Cleaning, the lab was completely messy. Then, this month, Adrian and I worked hard to tidy up everything and dumped all empty boxes to the trash bin. It was a great achievement when the spaces occupied are emptied to cover the expanse of walkways.

However, this appeal wasn't really about the Spring Cleaning. Surprisingly, the fisheye lens are running short for 4 in the box. No one took anything from the box, neither do they heard anyone came to the lab illegally.

Finance gives their unit a bad name. Having refused to do a tedious search through their delivery notes, I was told to contact the vendor. The vendor told me the items were right in numbers. It was a mistake for not keeping a photocopy of the delivery note from Finance. There's no visible evidence to proof who had done a mistake in accepting the goods before the lens come to me. It's hard to figure out why did the tally did not account from the date of delivery.

The closing is simple: LOST but not found. *Sigh*

Holiday Mood

Recently, I had a joyous holiday from December 2008 onwards. That's why I did not upload any more posts from the peak season of RMTR until now.

Yet, I still have no idea on what should I scribble here. There are good stories for the past great holidays. The trainings held during the Christmas was a great fun. By chance, I was given an opportunity to Singapore which is worthy of consideration. Due to the time constraint, I did not make the trip happen anyway.

Having contacted by few close friends, we shared good wishes, appreciation and remembrance with each other. The most important thing was Kerch did a good job. Yeah, I am very happy for you! Hope you'll get more fans in the future.

Chinese New Year is coming soon. CNY 2009 will be another occasion for revelry and honey moon. Happy jolly to all!

Completed Component Testing

Finally.....

I have been extremely busy for few months in order to package all the components before sent them for testing. With the celebration of Merdeka Day, I could save few days of holidays for my own celebration, too. Phase 2 components completion ~~ Yeah!!!!

Still got SOA components to be done. Start to day dream of what should I do next. Life is getting more boring because there's nothing new for the subsequent delivery period.

Sad at the end of the day when David said he's going to leave soon. Anyone who had partnered with me is telling me that they are quitting this company. Sigh >.<

Next year will be mine. Perhaps the bonus should bank-in earlier than the Merdeka.

Money matters a lot. Nisa even summoned me twice in a day in the Parking Wars of facebook. Aiiishshhh...... Bad NISA!!! Simply just because she wanted to buy a new car. Urggggghhhh! I will definitely remember the summon tickets.

Alvin and The Chipmunks

The movie was out on December last year. Now only I have to time to watch it. However, the movie is worth for watching.

The movie is about a song writer who find the all singing, all dancing, all eating chipmunks looking for a place to call home. He strikes a deal with them: they can stay in his house and eat his food if they will sing his songs. The Chipmunks tried to comfort him with the song "O..On-ly You". The song writer decided to keep them in his house.

It's a nightmare when the Chipmunks move into Dave's place. They mess around and they destroy his house, turn his life upside down and eat enough sugar to make them dance all night! With Dave's help the Chipmunks also become famous rock stars making lots of money but this is not what the Chipmunks really want.

You'll have to watch to find out!

Busy != NULL is a little bit busy.
Busy++ is getting busier.

All in all, what I would like to say is life is still busy, though sometimes I am just a little bit busy.

Boss sent an email at 5am yesterday. Don't be surprised. He's always doing that. Sometimes, he would send an email at 3am or 4am.

Lots of assignment while he's not around. I have to prepare for mining session, presentation, disclosure, paper, manage 2 members, and lastly have to finish up 3 components as soon as possible. Really cracking my head to do multitasks. Crying for help now.

One Million Star Season 1

I was so addicted to talent search shows recently. After American Idol Season 7 ended, I was dived into One Million Star Season 1 shows.

Xiao Jing Teng PK Aska Yang Zong Wei. That was the most exciting even ever. King of Black Spider vs King of White Spider, ahaha.... What a nice title. This round Aska won with excellent remarks of scoring over 20 ( full marks). He got 24 and Jam Xiao got 21. Wow, both are talented singers.

You should have watched this if you haven't so.

Boss came in and found that he's less energetic today. His eyes looked pretty small. Yap felt strange because we did not heard of his foot steps going around the office this whole morning. Haha! There must be something wrong with our Boss today.

"Sleepy." Then both of us giggled. Ka..kakka.....

Boss came to visit me in the lab only once. It sounds unusual because he did not come and bug me every 30 minutes this morning. Yet, he only came at 11am. He passed me the key and told me that he had applied half day MC leave for the rest of the day.

"Hurray!" Niza shouted.

"Yes!" MJ shouted.

Why are we so happy? Because....

It's almost 8 months since I firstly joined this company. As usual, all of us had lunch together. Everybody looks dull due to heavy work load recently. The workaholics are getting mad because of their own assignment.

Chan is busy with the contract book.

Yong is busy with the disclosure.

Yap is busy with the human tracker.

Chau is busy with the GB.

Nisa is busy with the semantic development.

Boss is busy running here and there....

David is suffering from migraine. It could be the effects after having heavy brainstorming for the microschedule.

Everyone looks dull and deeply depressed. Nobody brought out any single topic to chit-chat while we had our meal. Suddenly, Yap finally spoke and broke the silence.

He might leave in October to pursue his PHD in UK. Wow, I started to think of my own future from this moment. I should have started to plan my own future from now on. Should I go Singapore? Singapore is always the dreamt place I would like to visit again, but perhaps I would like to pursue my next phase of career there. I have not get myself clear of which way to go. Studies or working career? Or perhaps marriage is the best option!

There is a slight knock on my head now. There are so many things running on at the same time, and yet it's the time to decide whether I should make a change in my life. Changes is the only constant in this company, but it is also a major influence for me to decide whether I should leave or stay. Nobody could assure everything in the team shall remain still here in 2 years later.

Time is flowing quickly. From hours to minutes, from minutes to seconds, and from seconds to miliseconds. I shall plan far more ahead from now.

T__T (stressful today). This is how I look today.... Getting mad soon!

Perhaps should apply MC tomorrow. Haha! Then nobody will come and bug me every 15 minutes.

"Getting married!" My boss turned around and answered. Wahahhahaaa....... :)

This happened on the 2nd of January when all of us went to have our lunch together. Same to yesterday, the same question and answer popped up again in the appreciation dinner last night.

Yap suggested to my boss to hire the monkey.

"NoNoNoNoNONONONONO!" I immitated Chan's words.

"You hire either me or him!" Then everybody laughed.

After one year, monkey is still the hot topic here. o_0"'

Wonder where should I hide myself if he's really here. Gosh!

Life started to get bored when they had enforced network proxy to bar most of the entertainment sites now. Urgggghh!!! Although I'm connected through Wifi, the loading cell still does not speed up much. The line is so slow until hardly I could manage to load my Nodame SP1 video.

I am having problem with loading static image today. Few attempts resulted in few hours of debugging mode. Half day is already gone.

Just when I am typing this post, somebody sneezed as if she is farting. Uhu!!!

I'm having a hard time studying image processing all the time. What the heck!

I'm having problem understanding all sorts of probability equations. However, I still have to complete my work while studying and doing research at the same time. To program object tracking in VC++ is terribly difficult. I have been eating, sleeping and even singing with coding all the while and finally till this 7-th day, I have finally solved the tracking bugs! Woo-hOO!

Today is the day which is worth celebrating. Nice to catch up in my job since I've started to join this company. The recent firewall implementation has blocked most of my entertainment channels, but thanks a lot to Mei since she found a way to crack the blocks! It's amazing that I'm back to my normal chit-chatting life through the unfiltered sites. My boss was on leave to Bangkok for honeymoon, and I wasn't push to a certain limit in order to finish up every assignment within few days time. Since my supervisor is no longer here, I have been enjoying most of my leisure activities here in the office. No matter what happen, this is what I would like to say ^.^:

Let's countdown. Few more days to go, 7 days left precisely. Staring at the clouds is doing nothing. However, it means much more gloom and rain. This is because these days are windy. It is hard to understand why I came here, but it is more important to realize the value that adding life cover brings. There is much joy, sadness and anger for what I had been through. I found the gift which fuels and heals up myself. Thanks to all my truthful friends all these while. Your kindly support are very much appreciated. Celebrating together makes more worthwhile memories. Thanks to them especially, who always inject me with extra doses of encouragement and motivation. Your lovely smiles, and applauses are great welcoming cheers in making the party enjoyable all the time.

I had been through depression. I was drowned, and haunted by nightmares. Instead of grieving, I became aggressive and started to look answers at the wrong places. I was spiraling out of control in darkness. Seemingly, I was intoxicated by unidentified venom. I was collapsed and fallen. My head was foggy because I was unable to solve problems myself. Thanks to those psychedelics who wake me up from fooling around!

The hard part came when I was binded to work under insane supervisor. Wearily caught up in crazy getups, I wonder what the rational points might be. If there was obvious witness and videotape which can show the horrible reality than I am working without dignity and sensationalism, it will be worth more than a thousand words. I am happy because I realized the worst is over, now that the truth has been told. The fear has faded away, to be replaced with profound happiness and excitement.

Luck strucks when I am soon required to enter interviews. I feel I could encounter perfect legacy for myself for which I could bring myself to life again, leaving powerful lessons behind. There is still another glimmer in the gloomy sky. As we watched, it could grow bigger.
